Hi everyone! My name is Adela Olivia Chavez, and I am taking part in Organization for Youth Empowerment's (OYE) RACE 4 OYE initiative. Originally I am from Tegucigalpa, and I've never gotten the chance to raise for a creative cause in Honduras before. 


OYE is a small grassroots organization that promotes access to education for at-risk Honduran youth. OYE provides scholarships and capacity building programs to students who would not otherwise have the means to stay in school, as well as leadership opportunities in radio, magazine, art, and sports programs. Through OYE, these youth gain the tools they need to create the positive change they want in their country.
